Many people feel as though the romance is dead in their relationship just about the time that it starts to heat up.  Romance doesn’t have to be dead though, you just need to find simple ways to be romantic, to let your spouse know that you not only love them, but that you want them.  When you make this a part of your every day life you will find that you not only know how to be romantic, but that you and your spouse will have a much stronger relationship because the romance is alive and well all the time, not just during the times when you think you should be romantic.

Romance can be worked into every day.  Simple ways to be romantic every day without the need for a Hallmark holiday include:

? Leaving love letters for your spouse where they would least expect it
? Call your spouse during the day just to tell them that you love them
? Go for a walk together just the two of you
? Dance in the rain
? Extend your kisses just a little bit longer
? Look into your spouses eyes and smile
? Make a point to watch one romantic movie together per month
? Watch the clouds drift by as you lie together
? Send your spouse a card in the mail
? Surprise your spouse with a candlelight dinner
? Write a love story about the two of you
? Send flowers
? Bring home their favorite candy
? Pick a single flower and put it on their pillow
? Sing to your spouse
? Whisper sweet nothing’s into the ear of your mate

When you look at these simple ways in which you can be romantic, suddenly you can see that romance isn’t anything that you need to plan.  You don’t need to wait for a holiday or do what everyone else does to share a bit of love and romance.  Instead, you can do romantic things every day for your spouse. It is usually these simple little things that usually mean the most, so make sure you do them regularly.  If you are dedicated to being romantic, you can do one romantic thing for your spouse each day.  They may not always say it, but they will appreciate these romantic little gestures.

A lot of people may look at these things and think that they are not really as romantic as they are kind or loving, but that is what being romantic is all about!  These are all simple ways in which you can realistically work romance into your every day life.  Get creative and have fun with it!
